Our Teachers
Jenna Baker
Miss Jenna is the owner of New Motions Dance Center, est. in September of 2018. She is a graduate of Anne Arundel Community College and has obtained an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Dance. She continues to take dance classes to keep up with her technique.
Jenna has been dancing since she was a young girl. For 23 years she has taken classes through the Dance Connection, Kent Island High School, Anne Arundel Community College and various conventions and conferences. She has been educated in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Pointe, and Tap. She has been a student under Meg Yoast, Amber Wright, Julia Smith, Tommy Parlon, Karen Katrinic, Lynda Fitzgerald, Robert Kleinendorst, and Adjetey Klufio.
Jenna will be teaching Ballet II, IV & V, Hip Hop Minis, Jazz II - IV, Kinderdance, Lyrical + Contemporary I & IV, Pre Pointe, Pointe II, and Strength & Flexibility, as well as coaching the competitive dance team, for the 2025 - 2026 season.
Riley Dilling
Miss Riley has been dancing for 16 years and is a recent graduate from Queen Annes Count High School. She will be in her third year of teaching at NMDC. She will be teaching Beg. Ballet II, Pre Ballet, Tap II, and assisting with Kinderdance.
Heather Efland
Miss Heather is in her third year teaching at NMDC and will be teaching Adult Tap for the current season.
Kylee Koss
Miss Kylee has been taking dance classes through New Motions Center for 8 years. She is in her second year of teaching and will be teaching Ballet III and Lyrical I.
Meghan Outten
Miss Meghan has assisted in teaching for four years and this will be her third year teaching at NMDC. She will be teaching Pre Ballet.
Bryce Sale
This is Bryce’s second year teaching at New Motions Dance Center. He will be teaching Lyrical III and Tap IV & V.
Kira Talley
Miss Kira has been dancing for twelve years through classes at The Dance Connection and New Motions Dance Center. She has been educated in Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Pointe and has been taught by Meg Yoast, Wesley Greer, and Jenna Baker. Kira has been teaching Hip Hop for nine years and will be teaching Hip Hop I - IV.
Erin Wright
Miss Erin is beginning her seventh year of teaching at NMDC. She will be teaching Tiny Tap, Tap I, and Tap III for the 2025-2026 dance season. Erin has experience in African, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, and Tap and her training was done locally, here on the Eastern Shore.
