Jenna Baker
Miss Jenna is the owner of New Motions Dance Center, est. in September of 2018. She is a graduate of Anne Arundel Community College and has obtained an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Dance. She continues to take dance classes to keep up with her technique.
Jenna has been dancing since she was a young girl. For 22 years she has taken classes through the Dance Connection, Kent Island High School, Anne Arundel Community College and various conventions and conferences. She has been educated in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Pointe, and Tap. She has been a student under Meg Yoast, Amber Wright, Julia Smith, Tommy Parlon, Karen Katrinic, Lynda Fitzgerald, Robert Kleinendorst, and Adjetey Klufio.
Jenna will be teaching Ballet II, IV & V, Hip Hop Minis, Jazz II - IV, Kinderdance, Lyrical + Contemporary I & IV, Pre Pointe, Pointe II, and Strength & Flexibility, as well as coaching the competitive dance team, for the 2025 - 2026 season.
Dustin Burket
Mr. Dustin is beginning his eighth year teaching at New Motions. He has decades of gymnastic and coaching experience. Dustin has recently opened Eastern Shore Cheer Academy, in Stevensville, where he will be teaching Tumbling I & II for New Motions.
Riley Dilling
Miss Riley has been dancing for is a recent graduate from Queen Annes Count High School will be in her third year of teaching at New Motions. She will be teaching Beg. Ballet II, Pre Ballet, Tap II, and assisting with Kinderdance.
Heather Efland
Miss Heather joined New Motions last year and will be teaching Tap III, and Adult Tap for the current season.
Kylee Koss
Miss Kylee is a recent high school graduate and has taken classes through New Motions Center for 6 years. Last year she assisted in teaching and will now begin teaching Ballet I and Lyrical I.
Meghan Outten
Miss Meghan has assisted in teaching for three years and this will be her second year teaching at New Motions. She will be teaching Pre Ballet.
Bryce Sale
We welcome Mr. Bryce to New Motions teaching staff! He will be teaching Lyrical III, and Boys Hip Hop I & II.
Kira Talley
Miss Kira has been dancing for eleven years through classes at The Dance Connection and New Motions Dance Center. She has been educated in Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Pointe and has been taught by Meg Yoast, Wesley Greer, and Jenna Baker. Kira has been teaching Hip Hop for eight years and will be teaching Hip Hop I - III, and Jazz II.
Erin Wright
Miss Erin is beginning her sixth year of teaching at New Motions. She will be teaching Beg. Tap, Tap I, and Tap II for the 2023-2024 dance season. Erin has experience in African, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, and Tap and her training was done locally, here on the Eastern Shore.
